Body specialist and founder of Niseko Bodyworks. Helping people to be healthy and happy. There was a period in my life where I was not able to do the things l love such as snowboarding because of back pain and knee injuries. Thanks to manual therapists and physiotherapists I was able to get back my freedom of movement allowing me to play sports again. Through this personal experience, I decided to become a body specialist. My mission is to help people suffering from similar discomfort and living with injuries to regain mobility and enjoy the things they love to do in life. Many of my clients who come to see me have lost their physical freedom due to chronic pain, injuries and stress. I find joy in serving such clients in need and sending them home feeling lighter and moving better. Massage therapist, Mayumi Otomo. I have extensive experience in oil massage and facial salons. I am always eager to learn about preventive healing methods such as yoga, Ayurveda, naturopathy, meridian lines, and Reiki healing to enhance our immunity and natural healing powers of the body.
Through practicing yoga, I had learned the importance of listening to my own voice. However, while raising my child, I had put my own self-care aside and found myself feeling tired both physically and mentally. I had become incapable of resetting on my own and felt the need to rely on someone else's hands. I became a therapist because I wanted to be a helping hand for those who are also tired from childcare or work.
Massage therapy can serve as a trigger for realizing your present state of being. When your body relaxes, your mind also becomes lighter. Let me be your guide for realizing and healing towards a healthy future.

Throughout my life, I have often found myself drawn to professions involving interactions with people. Over time, my interest shifted towards a career that could truly benefit others. It all began when my former colleagues at my previous job confided in me about their shoulder stiffness and bodily discomfort. On a whim, I offered them a shoulder massage, and their overwhelming joy became the turning point for me. That's when I thought, "This is it!"
Seeking to further my expertise, I decided to work at a renowned massage establishment in Sapporo while developing my skills in various massage techniques. Working hands-on allowed me to learn and grow, observing and understanding the reactions of different clients during treatments.
Now, I aspire to make use of my experience and attentively listen to the needs of my clients. My goal is to lighten both their hearts and bodies. It brings me happiness to be able to contribute to their well-being.
